Travel in Zimbabwe is made easier by an excellent
infrastructure, although you would be wise to check the current political situation before
travelling there today.
Getting around Zimbabwe used to be a pleasure; the connections
with neighbouring countries very good.
Even during the civil war in Mozambique,
the Zimbabwean army escorted lorry convoys through the Tete corridor from Malawi.
That journey and the minibus run from Swaziland
to Maputo are etched in our minds for forever.
