468x60 -- uploaded from your hard drive.
Online Statistics:
You can view how many times your banner has been shown on other sites in the exchange and
how many times the banner has been clicked:

the past 24 hours
Your banner shown and clicked on other sites
during the past 24 hours
Banners shown and clicked on your site during
the past 7 days
Your banner shown and clicked on other sites
during the past 7 days
Not every site
will be added to the exchange:
People come to Travel Notes for travel information and links to travel sites. Therefore, we
require that sites in the Travel Notes Banner Exchange have content related to
travel and don't look as though they were put together in five minutes by a four year-old.
Banners in the
exchange will appear on other member sites and
across the Travel Notes directory at random.
IMPORTANT
We want to make the Travel Notes Banner Exchange more exclusive and profitable to members
so you will be able to choose the categories of sites to be displayed on your site, and
sites that will be displaying your banner.
In order for us to activate your site
in the Travel Notes Banner Exchange you will need to place the code on your homepage!
You can place the banner code on as many pages
as you like (to earn more credits) but you MUST have the
code on your homepage and there may not be any more than two other 468x60
banners on the same page.
Stacking banners (on top of one another or
side by side) with other banner exchanges will not be accepted and your account will be
deactivated.
People have tried to abuse our Banner Exchange
in the past so we are going to be more strict in selecting who we activate and who we
deactivate -- in fairness to members who play by the rules.
Sporadic checks will be carried out on all
sites to make sure that they comply with these terms and conditions.
Credits:
All members receive a 0.85 ratio for impressions given and will be given 1,000 free
credits once their new account is activated. Only one account allowed per domain.
Top Sites:
We also have a top sites section showing the most active sites in our banner exchange,
displayed in the order of decreasing banner impressions given the previous day.
The TravelNotes
banner exchange code may not be
placed:
On pages with no content,
In pop up windows,
On websites/domains that have not been approved by TravelNotes,
On sites with illegal or pornographic material,
On pages that refresh or automatically redirect.
Termination of
account:
Fraudulent impression counts will not be tolerated and members who enter into such
activity will have their account terminated.
Changing the TraveNotes Banner Code or placing
it on pages outlined above will also mean termination of the account.
