Missouri at a Glance
Branson
at a Glance:
In the dog days of August and the wilting heat of July, expect long lines to get into
shows and attractions. During the winter the weather is a bit chilly for all except cold
weather critters, so if you can possibly arrange a spring or fall visit youll get
the best of the weather and a real reduction in waiting times.
Kansas
City at a Glance:
Baseball fans should schedule trips to KC for April through September so they can catch
the Royals at Kauffman Stadium. Football fans come in from September through December to
see the Chiefs. During the spring, summer, and fall, golfers go to KC's more than 40 golf
courses, and year-round the casinos keep gamblers happy.
St.
Louis at a Glance:
Every season in St. Louis has something special on offer -- in spring the St.
Patricks Day Parade is eagerly attended. In the summer, Six Flags St Louis attracts
tourists and area residents with thrill rides and an extensive water park. Fall brings
Halloween events at the Bissell House Museum and the Mountain Man Rendezvous. Around
Christmas the Anheuser Busch Brewery puts on a spectacular display of lights.
