Around Hawkes Bay:
Hawkes Bay is a region of striking scenic contrast with dramatic sea cliffs, park-like
farm lands, winding stony rivers and rugged hill country. Adding colour and interest to an
already beautiful landscape are orchards, old homesteads, historic settlements, and
vineyards of all sizes which produce internationally regarded fine wines.

Attractions:
Hawke's Bay has an amazing amount of things to do and see within thirty minutes to an hour
of either of the Twin Cities, Napier and Hastings. After the 1931 earthquake that
virtually destroyed most of Napier and Hastings, the cities were rebuilt in the
fashionable styles of the time - Spanish Mission, Stripped Classical, and above all Art
Deco.
Hastings:
Right in the heart of Hawkes Bay Wine Country, Hastings offers an amazing array of
activities to make your stay an exciting and enjoyable one.
Splash Planet:
All season amusement park set in 6.5 hectares of attractive park surroundings in Hastings,
featuring wet and dry, summer and winter rides and attractions suitable for all ages.
Wairoa:
Wairoa is the gateway to Mahia Peninsula, Te Urewera National Park, and Lake Waikaremoana.
If you are heading north from Napier, then Wairoa is a good place to stock up with
supplies on your way through to Mahia or Waikaremoana.
