Sydney Central Backpackers:
If there is such a thing as a home away from home in the Sydney backpackers district of Kings Cross, then this could be it. With a rooftop garden and barbecue, once you stay here you might not want to leave.

Travellers Oasis - Cairns:

An Oige - Irish YHA:
An Oige has 26 Youth Hostels located country-wide providing good quality accommodation for individuals as well as families and groups.

Austrian YHA:
The Austrian Youth Hostel Association was founded in 1946 and offers over 30 of its own hostels and 68 hostels in partnership. These modern and comfortable houses provide around 10,200 beds in Austria. Listing of hostels.

DJH - German Hostels:
In Germany, there are 608 youth hostels, located in all major tourist attractions.

Eurohostel Helsinki:
Eurohostel is situated in Helsinki's Katajanokka. Close to the Market Square (the Kauppatori), the hostel is surrounded by passengerships and a neigbourhood of Jugend style buildings and red brick warehouses.

Finnish Youth Hostels:

STF Hostels - Sweden:
STF has a network of about 300 youth hostels -- Vandrarhem -- throughout Sweden.

YHA England and Wales:
Youth Hostels in England and Wales. Youth Hostels are available to all. You don't have to be a youth to stay but you do need to be a YHA member and, for a nominal fee, there are great discounts and benefits.

Israel Hostels

Hayarkon 48 Hostel:
Located just 1 minute walk from the beach. In the heart of Tel-Aviv and in walking distance from anywhere you need to go. A 15 minute walk from Old Jaffa, 5 minutes from the Carmel Market and the Art Market.

Momos Hostel:
Momos hostel is one of the biggest and vetren hostels in Tel-Aviv, with 120 dorm beds (8-9$) and 30 private rooms (25-50$). Located on Ben-Yehuda Street.

Mugraby Hostel:
Mugraby Hostel is located on Alenby Street, in the heart of Tel-Aviv yet just a minute's walk from the beach. Weekly rate for a dorm bed is $52 and there are also private rooms from 30-40 dollars a night.

Petra Hotel and Hostel:
The oldest hotel in Jerusalem, with magnificent views. As you look eastward toward the Temple Mount, you'll see the Mount of Olives across the horizon behind the Dome of the Rock. Dorms $8 -- Private rooms $35-$50.

Latin America Hostels

FBAJ - Brazil Hostels:
The Brazilian Youth Hostel Federation has more than 50 youth hostels in the most incredable places around the country. It's a flash product so you'll need to click on the top ball for Brazil, then in the state map.

RAAJ - Argentina Hostels:
RAAJ has 19 hostels in Argentina. You can choose to stay in a chalet in the forest by a lake, or a hostel in the centre of a big city.

REMAJ - Mexico Hostels:
Mexican hostelling federation. Find IYHF affiliated hostels in Mexico.

Hostal del Glaciar - Calafate:
Located in Santa Cruz Province, Argentine Patagonia, Calafate is 40Km from Los Glaciares National Park's main entrance. Hostal del Glaciar has beds for over 140 people, a restaurant and arranges an alternative tour to the Moreno Glacier.

Hostal Valle Hermoso:
Located in Tupiza, Bolivia, the Hostal Valle Hermoso rooms are basic, but clean and tidy. The showers provide hot running water 24 hours a day. Price per night is only 15 bolivianos -- about US $2.50.

New Zealand Hostels

YHA New Zealand:
The New Zealand YHA offers 57 hostels in prime locations around the North and South islands.

City Backpackers - Auckland:
Located in central Auckland, City Backpackers Hotel offers an exciting alternative for backpackers, groups, families or corporates with backpackers prices for up-market, inner city Auckland accommodation.

Dorset House - Christchurch:
In December 1998 Dorset House was redecorated and upgraded to cater for travellers who wish to experience upmarket facilities at budget prices. Ten minutes walk from Cathedral Square, the centre of Christchurch, and 50 metres from the Avon River.

Georgia Parkside - Auckland:
