Manitoba owned, family-run business working hard to be the leading charter bus company in Winnipeg and rural Manitoba. As well as charters and tours, Beaver Bus also do the 55-minute run from Winnipeg to Selkirk; known locally as the 'catfish capital of North America'.

For a total change of scene, head off aboard ViaRail's Hudson Bay for a 1,700 kilometre journey into Northern Manitoba.

Leaving Winnipeg, in the heart of the southern prairies, you can travel by train to Churchill, a city in the vast subarctic region, on the shores of Hudson Bay - via The Pas and Wabowden.

The Hudson Bay leaves Winnipeg on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings. If you go as far as Churchill, you'll be spending two nights aboard the train.

On its route from Toronto to Vancouver, the Canadian also stops in Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie.

The Canadian leaves Toronto on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and Vancouver on Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays.
