An Ontario Vacation:
Ontario tourism revolves around three major places: Toronto, Ottawa and Niagara Falls.
Bald Eagles in Squamish, British
Columbia:
Every year the largest gathering of Bald Eagles feast on salmon beside the Squamsih River
and its tributaries. Located halfway between 2010 Winter Olympics hosts, Vancouver and
Whistler, this is an amazing spectacle to see if you are in the area.
Bearbrook Farm:
With six hundred friendly animals, ranging from elk to ostriches, Bearbrook Farm is a
successful, award-winning combination between a tourist resort and exotic animal park.
Canyon Sainte-Anne:
This little known natural wonder is located 40 kilometres east of Quebec City, smack in
the middle of the regions of Beaupre Coast and Charlevoix.
Ice Skating in Cedarena:
If you are looking for an alternative to the hustle and bustle of city rinks there is a
place in Canada, called Cedarena, and it can be found in the City of Markham; just thirty
minutes north of Toronto in Ontario.
Nunavut - Land
of The Inuit:
On Thursday April 1st, 1999 Canada's Inuit people achieved indepedence, and Iqualuit
became their capital.
Presquile Provincial Park:
A paradise for birdwatchers, a stop-over for Monarch butterflies on their way to Mexico, a
refuge for reptiles and a long, sandy beach. This may sound like a lush tropical island in
South America, but this dream of nature can be visited without having to buy a plane
ticket; if you live in Ontario, Canada.
The Peninsula Called Nova Scotia:
The peninsula is a welcome place to visit year round but especially throughout the summer;
from apple blossom time in late May through a surprisingly mild September and October.
Winterlude Festival:
While most festival organisers ask the weather gods to favour them with nice, balmy
conditions, the same can not be said for the people who plan Winterlude in Ottawa, Canada.
