Unlike many travel writers, Rod prefers the path less travelled.
Instead of 5-star spas and Michelin-listed restaurants,
he's more comfortable sharing a cup of tea with reindeer herders in Siberia, heading
Outback in a 4WD or stalking bears with his camera in Alaska.
However, those who know him better reckon there's a raving metrosexual
in there somewhere just screaming to get out!
Rod is the editor and webmaster for Traveloscopy, editor of World Adventurer and contributes
to OUTthere, Hilton Magazine, Honda Magazine and Cruise Passenger.
Rod is based in New South Wales, Australia and his personal website is
Travography.
The Islands of Love:
We knew from our lecture on board Oceanic Princess that the Trobriand Islands possessed
the fabled reputation as the 'Islands of Love', but what was taking place on the pearl
white sands as we approached struck us as something much more forthright!
