US Government Links

Central Intelligence Agency:
The official website of the US Central Intelligence Agency. Includes the World Factbook.

Federal Citizen Information Center:
The Federal Citizen Information Center (FCIC) helps federal agencies and departments develop, promote, and distribute useful information to the public.

FedStats provides easy access to statistics and information produced by more than 100 U.S. Federal Government agencies.

Established in 1992 to serve as the online locator service for a comprehensive inventory of information disseminated by the Federal Government.

FirstGov for Consumers:
Linking to a broad range of federal information resources available to consumers online. ScamAlert also provides current information on fraudulent and deceptive practices in the marketplace.

Internal Revenue Service:
Seventy percent of the U.S. taxpayers are eligible for free tax preparation software and free electronic filing.

Library of Congress:
The Library of Congress is the oldest federal cultural institution and serves as the research arm of Congress. It is also the largest library in the world, with more than 130 million items on approximately 530 miles of bookshelves.

Of all documents and materials created in the course of business conducted by the US Federal government, only 1%-3% are so important for legal or historical reasons that they are kept forever by The US National Archives and Records Administration.

U.S. Geological Survey:

U.S. Department of Health:
The United States Department of Health and Human Services leads America on the road to better health, safety and well-being.

U.S. Department of Labor:
The Department of Labor (DOL) fosters and promotes the welfare of the job seekers, wage earners, and retirees of the United States through a variety of Federal labor laws.

U.S. Senate:
Find information about any senator or what is happening on the Senate floor today.

USA Services:
With USA Services, citizens can get information from federal agencies in both English and Spanish via Internet, publications, telephone, and e-mail.
