Ararat Eskijian Museum:
Aside from art, artefacts and world-class museum items of several civilisations, the
museum contains full displays of ancient Armenian coins, stamps and currency of the
Armenian Republic from 1918-1920; maps dating back several years, describing the existence
of Armenia in present day Turkey, as well as Hittite and Urartu civilisations; and a
library containing rare Armenian history and genocide books.

Sergei Parajanov
Museum in Yerevan:
The museum was founded by government resolution in 1988, after the first exhibition at the
Museum of Armenian Folk Art. At that time 40 of Parajanov's works were acquired and
appropriate premises were allocated, consisting of two buildings in the 'Dzoragiugh'
Ethnographic Centre - one for the museum and the other for Parajanov's home.
