Skiing in Andorra:
The Principality of Andorra has the largest skiable area in the Pyrenees, with five Alpine
ski resorts and one Nordic ski resort.
Kirchberg:
Less than 90 minutes by car from Munich - and about 70 minutes from Salzburg, Kirchberg is
a beautiful part of the Tyrol; in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps.
Kitzbuhel:
The famous ski resort that hosts the mighty Hahnenkamm downhill race.
Lech am Arlberg:
Lech with Oberlech, Stubenbach, Zug and Zürs create a single large ski region with 84
cable cars and lifts, 260 km of well-tended pistes and 180 km of open slopes -- plenty of
variety for every skier.
Obergurgl:
Obergurgl offers magnificent ski runs and uphill facilities and almost perfect snow
conditions from mid-November through early May. The resort has 23 lifts, 110 km of
well-groomed slopes and 9 km of cross-country skiing tracks.
Saalbach:
The Saalbach Hinterglemm Ski Circus contains 200 km of prepared slopes, 52 lifts, 10 km of

Ski Gastein:
The Salzburg ski resorts of Bad Hofgastein
and Bad
Gastein offer more than 200km of prepared runs in four ski areas. Modern lift
facilities take skiers up to an altitude of 2700 meters.
Sölden:
From the gentle beginners slopes on the Giggijoch, to the host of red pistes, the tasking
black pistes, and the off-piste routes on the Gaislachkogel, Sölden offers over 140km of
ski runs from 3250m down to 1377m.
Söll:
Only a few kilometres from the Kufstein and Kiefersfelden border, Söll is located in a
sunny and sheltered valley between the Wild Emperor and Hohe Salve mountains.
St Anton:
The Arlberg skiing region includes more than 80 cablecars and ski lifts, 260 km (160
miles) of groomed pistes and 185 km (114 miles) of deep-snow runs. And the apres-ski is
legendary.

Hauser Kaibling:
Demanding skiers will enjoy the great variety of mogul and deep-powder runs at the Hauser
Kaibling. And the ski route at Hauser Kaibling's East Slope is simply spectacular. Not to
mention the run from the Kaiblingalm mountain pasture area to Schladming's Planai, which
is not called "the most beautiful" for nothing.
Planai:
Both Planai and Hochwurzen are central gateways for the
4-mountain-ski connection; featuring 115 km of ski slopes and 52 lift facilities.
Ski Amade:
The 5 most attractive skiing resorts of Salzburg and Styria have impressive dimensions and
offer 860 kms of perfectly prepared pistes as well as some 270 lifts to get skiers back up
the mountain.

Garmish-Partenkirchen:
Germany's highest ski area (Zugspitz) is located on a glacier at an altitude of 2,000 -
2,830m. The 'Classic Garmisch Partenkirchen' ski pass is valid for all 25 ski
transportation facilities of the Kreuzeck and Alpspitz mountains -- 37km of ski terrain.
The Dolomites:
Embrace the most spectacular mountains in the world. The Dolomiti ski area includes Cortina d'Ampezzo, San Vito, Borca & Vodo di
Cadore and Alta Badia.
Dolomiti Superski:
One skipass covers 12 regions and
1,220kms of slopes.
Val Gardena:
Selva Val Gardena is a good base to ski the Sella Ronda. Another interesting route is the
Gherdëina Skiring. Although not as famous, it's just as beautiful and varied, offering
visits to Alpe Seceda, Cuca Saddle, Furnes, Col Raiser, the Saslonch trail, Piz Sella and
Dantercëpies.
Vialetta Ski Region:
The Vialattea is an international skiing area consisting of 5 Piedmontese resorts:
Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana and Claviere (connecting with Montgenevre in
France).
Sierra
Nevada:
Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, situated in the municipal area of Monachil, is just 25 minutes
from Granada.
Åre
Ski Area:
The leading Nordic centre for alpine skiing with a rich variety for all ages.There's a
large selection of easy or very easy pistes for novices while the experienced skiers can
indulge in many challenging slopes.
Hemsedal:
The unique mountain scenery gives Hemsedala decidedly 'Alpine' feel. It has the highest
alpine point in all of Scandinavia, 1500 metres above sea level, and a vertical drop of
810 metres.
Sälen:
The four resorts of Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället make sure that
even if you're skiing for the very first time, you'll enjoy it just a much as someone who
lives for the steep black slopes.
Vemdalen:
The feeling of homeliness, hospitality and the personal treatment is Vemdalen's special
marks. Here you find three skiareas, Björnrike, Vemdalsskalet and Klövsjö/Storhogna
with a total of 53 pistes and decents of up to 415 metres.
